Vital Records Requests

Per New Hampshire state law, vital records are considered closed records and are only accessible to immediate family members (parent, sibling, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, grandparent, stepparent, stepchild) or someone with a direct and tangible interest in the record, such as a guardian or legal representative. Copies of vital record events during specific years are available at the Town Clerk’s office, regardless of where the event took place in New Hampshire.
