Amherst Trails

Over 25 miles of trails for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
Joe English Reservation
In recognition of other town and state re-opening measures, the ACC has agreed to re-open the Austin and Grater Rd. trailhead parking areas starting on Friday, May, 15th. For safety purposes, the abutting roadsides will remain closed to any overflow parking. If these lots are full, please find another trailhead parking area to visit; there are many located throughout Amherst. The ACC appreciates everyone’s continued patience, and compliance w/trail use guidelines and safe social distancing. Good hiking!
Here is a list of our trails with maps and information.  Map links are for maps provided by OSM (Open Street Map) or NRPC (Nashua Regional Planning Commission).  OSM maps will indicate your current location on handheld devices.  With NRPC maps the current location indicator does not work on iPhones.
