REVALUATION FOR 2026 TO BEGIN NOVEMBER 1, 2025
The Town of Amherst has contracted with Vision Government Solutions, Inc. to conduct the community’s 2026 Full Statistical Revaluation Update, as required by the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (DRA).
The purpose of the 2026 Full Statistical Revaluation Update is to ensure that all property assessments are adjusted to reflect fair market value as of April 1, 2026, creating an equitable distribution of the property tax burden among taxpayers.
Vision Government Solutions, based in Hudson, Massachusetts, is a regional leader in property valuation and assessment software, serving hundreds of municipalities across New England. The firm has worked with many New Hampshire communities and brings decades of experience and a strong reputation for accuracy, transparency, and taxpayer service.
During the revaluation process, Vision’s assessors will review recent property sales and analyze local market trends to determine updated values. As the project progresses, property owners may receive data verification mailers or requests for interior or exterior inspections. Public notices and updates will be shared regularly to keep residents informed.
