Notice of Vacancy - Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) Commissioner

The Town of Amherst is seeking interested residents to serve as Amherst's representative to the Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC). This is a four-year term.

The NRPC works collaboratively with member communities to address regional planning issues, including transportation, land use, economic development, environmental resources, and community development. Commissioners attend monthly meetings and help represent the interests of the Town of Amherst at the regional level.

Interested individuals are invited to submit a letter of interest to the Planning Board no later than July 6, 2026.

Letters may be emailed or delivered to the Community Development Department at Town Hall during regular business hours.

The Planning Board will review applications and make a recommendation to the Board of Selectmen, who is responsible for making the appointment.
