Mountain biking is permited on many trails in Amherst.  We ask that bikers be courteous and safety conscious around hikers on shared trails.  Trails that do not allow mountain biking should be marked with signs so indicating. Consider those signs the ultimate authority on whether biking is permitted on the trail.  Information on this website may be out of date or inaccurate.
