Priority Power Management (PPM), a national energy advisory firm specializing in energy procurement and cost management services, has acquired Standard Power, the Town of Amherst's energy advisory provider.

The transition is expected to be seamless and will not affect the Town's current electricity supply contracts or hydroelectric net metering agreements. All existing contracts, terms, and services remain in effect, and no action is required by Town residents at this time.
