The Amherst Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Amherst Town Hall on

Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.  New voter registrations, additions and corrections to the checklist, and party changes may be made at this session.

If registering to vote in Amherst for the first time, please bring the required documents to prove age, identity, domicile (resident of Amherst) and US citizenship. In addition, a new law requires anyone making a name change to supply supporting documents.  Registrations cannot be completed without these documents.
