The Department of Public Works is announcing a full closure of the Thornton Ferry Road 1 (TF1) Bridge starting Monday, April 21, 2025 for replacement. This project is critical for ensuring the safety and reliability of the bridge.

Closure Dates:
 Bridge Closure: April 21, 2025
 Substantial Completion: August 22, 2025
 Final Project Completion: September 21, 2025

Detour Route:

Amherst Street - Baboosic Lake Rd. - Spring Rd. - Upham Rd. - County Rd.

A message board will be in place starting the week of April 1, and we’ll share updates via the Town website, DPW Facebook, community message boards, and Transfer Station kiosk.
