The Town of Amherst thrives with the assistance of its Volunteers. Most committees have a need for additional membership, and its a great way to get to know the Town and others with the same volunteer spirit.

The following boards, commissions, and committees have vacancies. A Volunteer application and a Letter of Intent are requested. Please send all applications to Jennifer Stover, [email protected] before March 28th, 2025. Appointments made by the Board of Selectmen will take place on April 7th. The Planning Board Appointments and the Zoning Board appointments are expected to take place the following week.
