The Souhegan Regional Landfill District is comprised of four towns:  Amherst, Brookline, Hollis and Mont Vernon.  Together the four towns' representatives look for the best, most economical and most environmentally sound ways to dispose of/recycle solid waste.  Three representatives from Amherst serve on the committee.
