Voter Registration Sessions at the Town Clerk’s Office

The Amherst Supervisors of the Checklist will be offering two VOTER REGISTRATION sessions at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Amherst Town Hall in the month of February.

 1)               The first is associated with the Feb. 11 Presidential Primary and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 11:00 to 12:00 .

2)               The second session is associated with the March 10 Town Election and will be held on Saturday, February 29 from 11:00 am to 12:00 am. 

*Corrections to the checklist may be made at these sessions, but it should be noted that no change of party applications shall be accepted before the Primary. Change of party applications can be accepted after the Primary and up to 10 days prior to the Town Election. No additions or corrections to the checklist may be made after these sessions in the ten days prior to each election.   

New voters are always welcome to register during business hours at the Town Hall up to 10 days prior to Election Day or at the polls on Election Day.
