2005 Renovation Work

Phases II and III

Planned Phase II town hall improvements include a complete rewiring and a new heating system. Phase III involves reconfiguring the first floor and creating all new office spaces. Phase III will also restore the front door as the main entrance to the Town Hall.

Answer: A lot.

The Town Hall floor changed in elevation over 3 inches.

It took days and a lot of patience to cut, and sometimes hand plane board to level the floor.

Before the sub-floor could be installed, each section needed to be leveled.
