Hartshorn 2008 information is available HERE. Join us for the nineteenth season of our Hartshorn Summer Program! Classes are available for toddlers through adults and for families. Hartshorn is in session June 23rd through August 22nd. Extended day options are available 7:30AM-5:30PM. Looking for an exciting family adventure? Join nature survivalist, Chick Wetherbee, for an unforgettable Night with Nature, August 17th to 18th. Nestled in a local secluded site, Chick will conduct his famous camp craft overnight. Play games, share stories, learn about survival and even build a fire without matches! A parent, guardian or adult chaperone must register and accompany children. Program includes food and all activities. Only $95 for adult/child Amherst residents or $105 adult/child non-residents. Multiple child rates are available. As always, we are in need of lots of volunteers to assist with Hartshorn morning classes or afternoon sessions for kindergarteners through eighth graders. Earn community service hours and have a great time in the woods! Volunteer registration forms can be found HERE. Full Moon Hikes Friday, July 18th at 8:30PM Saturday, August 16th at 8:00PM New Moon Hikes Friday, August 1st at 8:00PM Join us for stories and a walk in the woods along easy paths that accommodate people of all ages. Let PMEC help you find your way around the night sky. Bring a flashlight to help you navigate uneven terrain. Call us at 673-1141 for location (not all hikes take place at PMEC). Advance registration required. If no one calls, leader won’t show up! $5pp/$12 family.
