Skills and interests: I spent most of my business career as a general manager. In pursuing volunteer activities, my interest is in seeing that the boards and commissions on which I sit exercise care in their decision-making, put the interests of the citizens or members they are serving ahead of any desire for personal profit, and set priorities based upon a carefully constructed vision for the future of the community and/or organization.
