Rich Hart has lived in Amherst since 1980. After getting a P.hD in Computer Science from the University of Connecicut, he has worked for Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, and Hewlett Packard. Now retired, he is self-employed, teaches, and does what he wants. He is a member of the New Hampshire DES Souhegan River Local Advisory Committee. He leads canoe trips occasionally on the Souhegan River and elsewhere, and he calls contra dances nearby.
