Town of Amherst Board of Selectmen February 21, 2006 Meeting Minutes

Chairman Marilyn Peterman called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.  Selectmen present: Bruce Bowler, George Infanti, Jay Dinkel and Thomas Grella. 

Upon a unanimous roll call vote, the Board entered non-public session at 5:01 p.m. under RSA 91-A:3 II (a) personnel.

The Board exited non-public session at 6:30 p.m. 

In public session, the Selectmen announced the appointment of Peter Lyon as the new Police Chief effective May 1, 2006. 

Upon a motion made and duly second, the Board adjourned the meeting at 6:40 p.m.
