Talent on the Green

Start practicing now. Charlene Carper is staging the popular Talent on the Green show this year. What kind of talent? Any kind that youmight have that can be shown in five minutes or less, is family friendly, and entertaining. Amherst abounds in talent and it needs to be shown on the green this summer.

The talent show is open to all ages and all talents. Can you sing? Dance? Blow huge bubbles? Juggle? Do acrobatics? Wiggle your ears? Recite a poem? Play the fiddle? Play drums? Or a washboard? If so, have your talent showcaded on July 4th. This is meant to be fun—for both you and the audience. If you are timid about being on stage by yourself, gather your friends and do a group entry. This is your chance to shine!

Patriotic themes are encouraged but not necessary. Anyone with a modicum or more of talent, a sense of fun, and a desire to be on stage is welcome. Registration will be from 10:00 on at the Fourth of July Committee Information Tent on the village green.
