Accounts and stories of many events in Amherst's past will be told here, on a monthly basis, by Bill Wichman, with help by others in the Amherst Historical Society.

This Is A Volunteer Effort

Committee co-chairs Carolyn Quinn and Will Ludt are in touch with volunteer groups who will host anniversary themed events throughout the year, culminating in a day of festivities on September 25, 2010 – with activities for all ages.

The 250th Anniversary Committee is looking for more volunteers, great ideas, and anyone interested in helping out. Additional groups or individuals interested in participating are encouraged to contact Carolyn (673-3308) or Will (673-1072), or send email to info250@amherstnh.gov.
