The Arnold Conservation Easement

The Arnold Conservation Easement is 34 acres, located at the corner of Dodge and Austin Roads. It was a gift from the Arnold family, completed in 2002. A portion of the Bicentennial Trail passes through the Arnold Lot. The lot contains a field and some wooded forest land.

Other ACC parcels acquired from the extended Arnold family include the 119-acre lot at the southwest corner of Joe English Reservation and a 92-acre tract off Nathaniel Drive that includes the Arnold Trail. Betty Arnold was a member of the Amherst Conservation Commission for many years.
