Here are drafts for the Amherst Master Plan. This page will be updated as drafts become available.
To comment or contribute to any of these drafts, go to the
discussion forum.
At the AMP forum, any Amherst citizen can ask for clarifications or suggest additions, corrections or
changes to any of these draft chapters for the Master Plan.
In January 2008, the organization of the document changed a little.
Many of the chapters, became elements of the existing conditions report, or appendix.
The final master plan will focus on the goals and plans, while the existing conditions will be in a separate appendix.
The original chapter numbers are now subtitles on the right, with the new titles above.
More changes may be in store. Come to the Master Plan meetings to help Amherst get it right.

The Whole Thing
This a copy of the entire document, as of the date specified, for those who want it all at once.
As of January 2008, the document includes only the inventory information for each element.
The recommendations to be used for future planning will be written in a separate "Master Plan" document that will
use this inventory information as the starting point or basis for future plans.
The inventory will be incuded as an appendix in the full document.
